It goes with out saying that it has been way too long since the last blog post! I thought of trying to fill in the 6 month gap here with several photos since last December, but for now I'm going to skip right up to this last weekend (maybe later I'll update a bit on the last several months).
Last weekend our family along with my dad, mom and sister went on a camping trip in my grandpa's RV. We traveled about an hour away to Big Wood State Park and met up with another family there. Both boys did great with the ride. Caleb enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse while on the road...quite the luxury for him.
The boys loved being outside...the trick was trying to contain Micah and prevent him from eating rocks.

We took a short hike to Hidden Falls which turned out to be a nice little place to hike around. Caleb enjoyed throwing rocks in the water. Dad enjoyed studying the geology of the rock layers. Most of us enjoyed hiking further down the creek and finding other small waterfalls.

Caleb and Micah got to share what would normally be an eating area that folds down into a bed. Micah is quite enamored with his big brother so for him to fall asleep we had to use towels so he wouldn't see Caleb and stay awake (obviously not working in this picture)
Eventually we got both boys to sleep (this is nap time) and the slept great both at night time and nap time.
We had a great trip and most of us can't wait to do it again!
